TECHNOMELT 8448

Technomelt 8448 is a medium viscosity hot melt formulated for case and carton sealing. This hot melt has excellent hot tack and fast setting speed. It will maintain bond strength under low and high temperature conditions.


TECHNOMELT 8448 is supported by regulatory documentation covering key packaging and food-safety requirements, including:


  • U.S. FDA: Fully complies with 21 CFR 175.105 for safe indirect and incidental food contact.

  • EU PPWR & PFAS: Formulated without intentional PFASingredients and meets heavy metal concentration limits (<100 ppm combined) under EU packaging frameworks.

  • Allergens: Certified Gluten-Free; formulated entirely from synthetic raw materials free from major food allergens. Additional Status: Talc & Green 7 Free
